It is narrated that Abdullah ibn `Umar radhiya allahu anhu [may God be pleased with him] said: "While we were praying with the Messenger of God ﷺ, a man from the crowd said: 'Allahu akbar kabiran wal hamdu lillahi kathiran wa subhanallahi bukratan wa asilan.' [God is indeed the Greatest, all praises are due to Him, many praises, and all glory is His alone, morning and evening.]
The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Who is the one who said these words?'
A person from the crowd said: 'It is me O Messenger of God.'
The Prophet said: 'They amazed me! They caused the doors of heaven to be opened.'
Ibn `Umar said: 'I have never abandoned these words since I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say that.'"
